Case Study - AzteQ Solutions
AzteQ Solutions Ltd, based in Hemel Hempstead, is a fast-growing business which offers network and computer maintenance and installation solutions to medium and large clients, in the corporate and public sector.
The Challenge
AzteQ's business model is based around maintaining a relatively small core team for sales, admin and operations management, and to use a network of approximately 80 engineers located all over the UK.
As such, they needed a system which would:
Allow them to distribute jobs easily to their engineers
Allow them to track the status of jobs and view statistics
Improve the visibility within the office of what work is being done when and by whom
Improve communication with their customers
Require minimal operational overhead and maintenance
The Solution
Nuvola has developed a web based system on our Application Framework for AzteQ, known as AJaMS (AzteQ Job & Management System), which has been constantly improved and adapted to meet the changing needs of the business – release 5.0 has recently gone live which includes their new warehouse and stock tracking operations, a live interface with a customer's system, and automatic allocation of jobs to engineers by text message.
The system now sits at the heart of AzteQ's operations and customer relations. It provides not only job management and location-based engineer allocation, but also automates their costing and invoicing process to a large degree. Customers can log in to the system and see the current status of all of their jobs, and the engineer(s) allocated to them. As AJaMS has been built around AzteQ's business processes, it is easy and intuitive for staff to use and has proved adaptable to their needs.
